Tracking Dband in Nashville – Castle Recording Studio – June ’11

The past week saw the Dband boys from Colorado make the trip to Nashville to record their first studio record. Producer Paul Mabury picked The Castle Recording Studios in Franklin, a supposed half way house for Al Capone back in the day. Jason Ingram and Stu G offered their support and the results were great. I can’ t wait to hear the final mixes!

Castle Recording Studios is equipped with a 64 channel SSL 4000 G+ with outboard such as Neve Pre’s, Neve 33609, API 500 series EQ, Teletronix (LA2A, 3A), Tubetech CL1B, Urei 1176, Pultec (EQP1A, EQH2) and Empirical Labs distressors to name a few. They are complimented with mics such as Neuman (U47, U67, U87, M250, M249, KM54, Fet47), B&K 4007, Royer 121, Coles 4038, and AKG 414.

Thanks to Sidney for the photos!
