On tour with Darlene Zschech

September saw a quick tour in the USA with Darlene Zschech and the team. San Antonio, Nashville and  St Louis were the stops and in Missouri we joined the JMM team for a 3 day conference. Below are a few shots from the very talented Jared McGhie who also takes care of the tour management.

I have custom moulded earplugs with 15db attenuators..but I don’t use these while mixing..When I go to see a live show that is a little excessive on volume, it still allows me to enjoy the music!

Do you have a particular ear plug you wear?

Barry Southgate EP – Mixing

The week just gone saw a day of mixing for Barry Southgates up and coming EP ‘Epitome’. Loud Recording in Nashville was a lot of fun and the ‘one of kind’ blue faced 72 channel SSL 9000J served the project well. Here are a few photos from the day!

Henson Recording Studios – Studio A

An amazing room with some amazing history. The gear isn’t bad either.

Hillsong Live Tour – Complete!

Last week saw the end of the 3 week sold out tour throughout the USA, ending with two shows at club Nokia in LA. Thanks to those that came and said hello!

Mid-America Sound provided all things production- Yamaha PM5D for monitors, Digi Profile at FOH along with DV-Dosc with flown subs and some of the new SB28’s on the floor for some extra LF extension! Front and side fill were accomplished with ARC.

Here are a few photos stolen from the camera of Brad Law for Cuepoint Productions with the exception of the very last that is thanks to Daniel Han for Lovisa Han Photography.
